Legacy’s crews
construct a variety of different wireless sites; including rawlands,
collocations, rooftops, tenant improvements, microwave hops, repeaters,
switches, fiber optic and broadband facilities; with vast experience in
network upgrades and change outs.
The construction division is
supported with managers who are responsible for estimating, project
management, safety, and quality control, so clients can be assured that
field personnel are concentrating on field activities, and managers are
managing the projects. Unlike numerous other wireless construction
companies who “sub” out many disciplines, Legacy has internal civil,
tower, electrical, and equipment install crews; which save clients both
time and money.
Legacy Wireless
Services maintains contractor licenses in Washington, Oregon, California
and Idaho.
Safety and training are paramount to the company. Crew members are
certified through OSHA approved fall protection, tower climbing, and
tower rescue classes, as well as training in Andrew, Commscope, RFS
Cablewave, and formal sweep testing. Staff members hold monthly and
weekly safety meetings as well as maintain and update a safety manual
that is available to all employees.
We
consider all employees to be a valuable and important resource for our
company and the clients we serve; therefore we are committed to
maintaining a drug-free workplace. All potential employees must undergo
and pass drug and alcohol testing before being hired. Random and Post
Accident testing are also conducted on employees to ensure compliance
with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as client
requirements.
